Welcome to our Model Railway catalogue.
We currently manufacture a small, but growing, range of buildings, trackside accessories and scenics in N, OO and Z scales. The models are cast in acrylic polymer, with smaller parts in resin or white metal. The models are available either fully assembled, painted and ready to use, or unpainted for those who enjoy making their own models.

NB7 Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert Underbridge entrance
A 1980's box culvert underbridge with concrete wing walls. Typically used to allow passage underneath the track for farm access, minor roads and paths etc. The wing walls are cast as separate sections to allow them to be angled as required.

N Scale Scenic Accessories

This range will cover a wide variety of scenic accessories which can be used to add realistic details to your layout.

The models are available unpainted, or assembled, fully painted and ready for use.
N Scale Allotments
Our allotment sets comprise a number of seperate pieces (each 28mm x 45mm) which can be used to make up a variety of different vegetable plots, from a small garden plot to full sized 5 or 10 Rod allotments.  Four pieces   will make up a 5 rod allotment while 8 pieces make up into a full sized 10 rod allotment. The pieces can be arranged in many different ways to ensure plenty of variety in your scenery.  

To ensure that the models were as accurate and realistic as we could make them we had them checked over by members of the Shropshire Organic Gardening Society. They were very impressed and even recognised the New Zealand Box style composter in pack 2!

Coming soon - a new range of N scale figures to populate your layout

  • Fed up with the same old  bland plastic model figures on your layout?
  • Would you like some models with real character?

We have been discussing this with a  well known manufacturer of metal wargame figures (who also happens to be a friend of ours!) and plans are well underway to produce a new range of human figures for N scale layouts.

It is initially planned to cover the period from the 1930's to the 1960's and to include items such as service personnel on leave (soldiers with kitbags etc), station and railway staff in period uniforms, a variety of different sets of passengers and so on.

As a taster here are some pictures of the initial test batch, which includes a smoking man (reminds me of Orson Wells in the film "The Third man"), a smartly deressed woman with a suitcase, and a mother with two school children. The schoolboy is even wearing a "tradtional" school cap and scarf. When you consider that the largest model is still less than half an inch tall, the detail on the models has to be seen to be believed!

These are photos of the original prototypes and it is planned that the production models will be cast in high quality white metal and sold painted and ready for use.

Comments and  feedback on these models, and suggestions for future additions to the range, are welcomed and we will pass on any comments to the figure designers.

Our allotment sets comprise a number of seperate pieces (each 54mm x 90mm) which can be used to make up a variety of different vegetable plots, from a small garden plot to full sized allotments.

Four pieces will make up a half sized 5 rod allotment while eight pieces make up into a full sized 10 rod allotment. The pieces can be arranged in many different ways to ensure plenty of variety in your scenery.

Naleumont Station - Photographed in southern Belgium in 2003, Naleumont is located near the town of Bastogne and the Luxemburg border. A superb model of a rural Belgian station. The model is a 12 piece kit and requires assembly - full instructions are included. The painted model comes fully assembled, painted and ready for use.

Z Scale British Railway Buildings

When we started looking at Z Scale models we were surprised to find that no one was designing any Z scale model buildings  for British railways – we were even told that there was no interest in Z scale British railways!

A visit to the Zedex show soon disproved that idea! A lot of the Z scale fans told us that they would like to see a range of British buildings and accessories. Well, here it is!
