We offer a first class painting service for our models, most of which can be ordered ready painted. In addition we offer a custom basing service for mounting the model buildings on a customised terrain base. Lastly, we offer a basing service to provide town bases for the popular Spearhead and Modern Spearhead wargames rules. |

Our painted models are painted to a high standard using artist quality acrylic paints and inks. The painted finish is protected with a coat of matt/satin spray varnish. The completed models are then ready for use on delivery. The prices of the painted models are shown in the catalogue.
Where possible, and if we have reliable sources, we paint the models to match the colours found on the original buildings. If this is not possible we use colours found on other contemporary buildings. This helps to enhance the realism, period character and feel of our models. We have a constantly growing collection of reference material, including travel guides, architectural manuals and history books to help us get it right, plus an increasing number of colour photos taken on our field trips. We also offer a basing service to provide diorama quality models ready to be placed directly on the tabletop. The bases are made of durable 2mm MDF, with some added terrain features such as, hedges, garden foliage, walls etc. These bases are custom built for each customer - we can also add trees and fences from our Foliage and Accessories range. We can also design fields and tree/wood bases as required. The basing service includes:

Spearhead and Modern Spearhead basing We offer a standardised basing service specifically for the popular SPEARHEAD and MODERN SPEARHEAD miniatures rules. Select the buildings you want, add the cost of the bases and any additional scenics and we will build them for you. The bases are the correct size for use with the rules and come finished and ready to use. Please note that the Spearhead/Modern Spearhead basing is only available for our 6mm scale models as larger scale models are too large to fit the bases. Prices for our standard Spearhead/Modern Spearhead bases are as follows:
Please note that the standard prices include appropriate texture materials and period clutter but do NOT not include painted buildings, trees or metal/plastic fences.
